Good: Lovely villa in a great location in BKK. The room is nice and clean. The food was very good - and perfect for vegetarians. Very nice staff and a cute resident cat! Would definitely recommend this place.
Only downside were a few mosquitos in the bathroom in particular as there are plants inside so the water /plants probably attack mosquitoes but we managed to deal with it!

Good: Oasis in the middle of the city. Old style villa with all new amenities. Restaurant food serves only vegetarian and seafood - well cooked. Excellent breakfast - try the owners baking! Room is comfortable. In house massage is on a terrace surrounded by nature - well worth it. Room service and housekeeping are good.
Bad: Staff did their job but lacked warmth. Otherwise it would be a perfect stay. Location not ideal for access to public transport, but you are away from the bustle.

10We've stayed in some lovely hotels before, but nothing quite as special as this one...!
Good: Ariyasom Villa was the last hotel we stayed in during our time in Thailand but probably the best! Our room was massive and the decore was just delightful! The hotel itself has a fantastic feel about it...kind of colonial...but not. You just feel so relaxed and distanced from the craziness of the city. The pool is just perfect after a hot day exploring and when night falls, the romance and splendor of Ariyasom make themselves known. Thanks again the Nerd Nomads for their recommendation and finally, please, if you're staying in Bangkok - stay here!!!
