Good: Amazing staff with thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks in the room and self-serve cold water in the lobby. There’s a nice outdoor area to relax. We had a minor issue with the room temperature, but it was quickly resolved. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay

4miserable. but had to tolerate...

Bad: the room was clean, I was staying alone but was given a queen bed with two separate cots which occupied all the space.
The phone didn't work, the AC didn't work well, housekeeping didn't stock up the coffee regularly, I couldn't get a drink or coffee from the bar and add it to my room and pay at check out as usual. And my CC wouldn't work sometimes and it didn't sometimes (same card). BUT most annoying of all was they had three elevators of which one was not working at all, and it took forever to get an elevator, luckily I was on the second floor so I just used the stairs but on the day of check out, 2 out of the 3 elevators didn't work and so I had to lug all my luggage down to the lobby. No one noticed, cared or apologized.
I travel frequently and the worse stay I had at a top chain hotel like this.

Good: The bed was comfortable
Bad: Since day 1 i reported that the a/c was not working and they never did anything to fix it. I spoke to front desk and even did a live chat through novotels portal and they said they would solve the issue but they never even sent someone to check. I also put a sign for them not to come in and still they came into my room and left me a fan, which was wild because they are not allowed to enter without your consent. Would never come back!
