Bad: Waited over 20 minutes for someone to attend reception to check me in, by which time there was also a queue of people waiting.
Room was small and cramped, bathroom door didn’t open fully due to toilet behind it. Safe didn’t work. Was very dated.

4Don't believe the promise that...
Good: Ok breakfast, though cooked items were not kept hot effectively.
Bad: The television in my room had very few working channels and NO BBC channels. The channels that did work were very temperamental and fizzled out after a few minutes. I reported this to the management on my first day there, and when I returned to my room 8 hours later nothing had been done to address the situation. On my second day there I reported it again and once again on my return from work, nothing had been done. I eventually removed the television from its fitting myself and reset the wiring, which more or less resolved the problem. In the reception area there was a plaque proudly boasting that if something's not right the team will fix it. These are frankly empty words and in my experience nobody cares.
