9Great value and central location
Good: I enjoyed my stay here and will stay here whenever I'm LA. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfy, and the shower had a lot of pressure. You get a free self parking spot with your room and the hotel is very centrally located. With the AC on in the room, I could not hear other guests or traffic on 8th.
Bad: The desk light in my room didn't work, but there was plenty of other lighting available, so no problem. There was a stain on the carpet but frankly, I neither sit not sleep on the carpet and therefore didn't mind. The hotel is a bit dated but fantastic bang for your buck. Highly recommended.

Good: I always enjoy staying at this hotel and I pick here whenever I come to LA. They are great about early checkin and the place is quiet and clean. Plus it's within walking distance to the venues I travel to, plenty of great food and the public transit is right down the street. Staff is helpful but never overbearing and I really enjoy just being able to stay in a convenient location and doing my own thing- this hotel is perfect for that.
